The city of Aix-en-Othe with the Hall Baltard type, built in 1889 by Aristide Fortier, lives every Wednesday morning the market that is part of the 100 most beautiful markets in France.

The old hosiery factories, the big bourgeois houses, the beautiful Fontaines Park, where was built in the 3rd century a thermal establishment fed by the sources of the Gifted and the Enchevêtre, are as much treasures to be discovered ...


The village of Chaource is rich in history and architectural heritage. The church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste is known for the chapel of the sepulcher evoking the burial of Christ made in 1515 by the "Master of Chaource" or the organ of the church, this magnificent instrument dates from the end of the XVII and has an exceptional sound.

Do not forget to take a look at the last Aube cheese factory, which was created in 1885 and offers several specialties such as Chaource AOP, Soumaintrain and Lys de Champagne-Ardenne.


Old medieval city, Small City of Character, the village of Ervy-le-Châtel is rich of many spectacular buildings such as the Porte Saint-Nicolas which is the only medieval town gate that remains today in the department. The Circular Hall, built in 1836-1837, prodigious by its circular shape, rests on the ancient moat of the fortified city.
